Avocado honey is one of the most distinctive monofloral honeys produced in Spain. It is made primarily from the nectar of avocado blossoms and stands out for its sensory profile, which is very different from that of more common honey varieties. <\/p>

Its dark color, rich and velvety texture, and vegetal and balsamic notes make it highly valued by those seeking bold, distinctive flavors.<\/p>

What is avocado honey?<\/h2>

This honey is obtained when bees collect primarily the nectar of avocado blossoms during their flowering season. To produce monofloral honey, the hives must be located in areas where this flowering is predominant. <\/p>

Origin of avocado honey<\/h2>

In Spain, it is mainly produced on the Costa Tropical of Granada and in the Axarqu\u00eda region of M\u00e1laga, where avocado cultivation finds exceptional climatic conditions.<\/p>

Avocado honey may crystallize over time. The rate of crystallization will depend on its composition and storage temperature. <\/p>
